Black Hawk Run Golf Club was established in 1964 as a 9-hole course under the name Stockton-Atwood Community Golf Course. The course was expanded to a challenging 18-hole course in 1995. In 2003 the name was officially changed to Black Hawk Run, which better incorporates the rich history of the area. The land that was once a battle ground of Black Hawk, a fierce Sauk warrior, is now our playground. Set among rolling hills and meandering creeks, Black Hawk Run is one of the most beautiful courses in northern Illinois.
